On Saturday I went in and asked if they would do me something that was not on the menu .
They said no problem .

Often down for the day in Montrose and go to Chips'n' Things. Fish and chips are the best I've tasted in a long time. The batter is delicious. Good price too.

Went in to pick up an order, a bit surprised that my online order wasn't made until I came in to pick it up at the time selected. However, it was cooked quickly and hot when delivered. Breaded haddock was crispy and tasty, chips were a bit underdone but a few minutes in the oven at home made them to my preference. Tartar sauce was good too. Very good for the price.

Great service, decent chips but the fish cakes tasted horrible. The fishcakes were too overcooked and tasted burnt. I was very disappointed and expected better.
